People in Suva may face water disruptions

People living in a number of areas in Suva may face water disruption from 10pm tonight till 6am tomorrow.

The Water Authority of Fiji said this interruption in supply is because of the “Step Test Program” which will be done at Rewa street.

The Authority said this is being done to minimize the number of leaks along the system of operation.

The areas affected include Rewa street, Laucala Bay road, Ratu Sukuna road, Nasova, Holland street, Knolly street, Pender street, Denison road, Duncan road, Clark street, Ma’afu street, McGregor road, Bau road, Le Hunte street, Short street, Carey street, Serua street, Nailuva road, Varani street, Mariko street and Reki street.
