People in Lautoka will now be able to receive free eye treatment through Mobile Eye Clinic services this week.
Coordinator Jovesa Tikomailepanoni says those who need surgeries and live in the interior will be admitted to the Lautoka Hospital.
He says this will save the travelling time since the transport service in the some interior areas are not frequent.
He says more than a thousand people in the Northern Division benefitted from the service last week.
He says they have conducted more than one hundred restoring sight surgeries in the last two months at the Nabouwalu and Labasa health facilities.
