People who received hearing aids from the Carabez Alliance earlier this month were happy to access everything they were not able to access before.
Founder Bronwyn Carabez says that before people were not able to get hearing aids unless a family member traveled to overseas to buy one for them.
Carabez says that those people who received the hearing aids are relieved and surprised that the hearing aids were free of charge.
She urges parents to learn sign language if their children’s ears are completely dead to help them communicate with their children.
Meanwhile, the Carabez Alliance distributed 700 free hearing aids earlier this month.
