Parts of Tavua and Rakiraki will be without power supply tomorrow for repair works - EFL

Thousands of residents from a number of areas of Tavua and Rakiraki will be without power supply tomorrow as Energy Fiji Limited will carry out critical repair works on the 33,000 Volts transmission line.

This transmission line carries power from the Rarawai Zone Substation to residents in Tavua and Rakiraki.

Energy Fiji Limited will de‑energise the 33,000 volts transmission line from 5am to 6pm tomorrow.

Power supply to parts of Tavua and Rakiraki will be switched off   for safety reasons to allow Energy Fiji Limited teams to carry out maintenance works on the line.
