Officers at the Nadi Airport Post Office have seized a parcel containing the pseudoephedrine drug which was addressed to a local.
In a joint statement, Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority and the Fiji Police Force has confirmed that the parcel containing five plastic packets of white powder were sent from Ukraine.
Preliminary tests reveal that pseudoephedrine drugs were present in the five packets.
The parcel which weighed 5.5 kilograms has been handed to the Fiji Police Force for further investigation.
The alleged substance is expected to be brought to Suva for further testing.
