Pacific Mega Campaign winner decides to build house for her children

A school teacher from Kiribati, Mwateiti Areke has decided to build a house for her two children after she was announced as the first 25,000 Australian Dollars winner of the Pacific Mega Campaign at ANZ House this afternoon.

Speaking from Kiribati via Tele conference Areke said that she never thought of being the lucky winner of such an amazing price.

While declaring the winner, the ANZ Chief Executive Officer Fiji and the Pacific, Vishnu Mohan said the Pacific Mega Campaign is a way of simply saying ‘thank you’ to their existing and new customers.

He highlights that the ANZ has three operating branches and 15 ATM’s in Kiribati, servicing the retail, commercial and institutional customers.

327,148 ANZ customers applied for the Pacific Mega Campaign from eight different Pacific Island nations including Fiji.
