Following serious concerns on recent attacks and drug raids at a Public Rental Board housing in Nabua, the Public Rental Board has stressed that they will now take action according to the tenancy agreement.
This has been highlighted by the CEO of PRB, Patrick Veu, following the attack on Police officers at Mead Road last Friday.
Veu says that he is aware that some of the men involved in the attack are tenants in their PRB Mead Road Housing Complex and this is a concern to the Public Rental Board.
When Fijivillage asked Veu on the safety of other residents and what they doing about the career criminals who are their tenants, Veu says that the safety of the tenants is paramount to PRB and the least they can do is to remove the tenants that are breaching the agreement.
Veu also confirmed to Fijivillage that they had a meeting with Police yesterday regarding the attack on Police in Nabua and they are carrying out a separate investigation on their tenants believed to be involved in the attack and other issues such as the dealing of drugs from the area.
