The new $7 note to commemorate the Vodafone Fiji 7s team’s Olympic gold medal win, will be launched by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama tonight.
The note and a commemorative coin will feature the Olympic gold medal winning team.
The denomination of the coin has not been revealed.
Former coach Ben Ryan will also be at the official launch at Grand Pacific Hotel at 7 tonight.
RBF Governor Barry Whiteside says only a limited number of this commemorative banknote and coin have been produced.
They will be issued through commercial bank branches from tomorrow.
