The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has sent his well wishes message to the Vodafone Fiji 7's team ahead of the South Africa 7's this weekend.
Bainimarama said after reaching an agreement with World Rugby to end the impasse that deprived everyone of coverage of the Dubai 7's, the remaining games will all be seen by all Fijians where both FBC TV and Fiji TV will be making a contribution to the cost of the coverage.
He added that at one stage of the negotiations, they offered to make a Government financial contribution to try to break the impasse but in the end this was not necessary after they reached an amicable agreement that is in the best interests of rugby and more particularly, the fans in Fiji.
Bainimarama said they are pleased that World Rugby has now joined us on the side of every Fijian.
