Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama said he is raising serious concerns about the misleading information that was circulated before the general elections by some politicians because they misled people by saying that he earns $1 million.
According to Bainimarama, he never received a $1 million salary but this misleading information was publicly highlighted by some parties.
He also said that some politicians were also spreading information that his wife had bought a $1.7 million home which is also misleading.
Bainimarama questions politicians what does this mean if the parties just make up stories and tell the public.
When we questioned SODELPA Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa today on the information about the Prime Minister's salary and other matters raised during the campaign, she responded by saying that she wishes him all the best as the Prime Minister of Fiji.
She did not want to make further comments on the issue raised by Bainimarama about what the parties were saying during the campaigns.
When asked on whether SODELPA has accepted the result of the 2014 general elections, Ro Teimumu said that they are still raising concerns on some of the alleged electoral breaches.
