Six-year-old Maraya Grace whose legs were amputated after a road accident had a reason to smile yesterday when she received a wheelchair from the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama.
Grace who has been admitted at the Lautoka Hospital for the past two weeks shared how grateful she was for the Prime Minister’s visit.
While presenting the wheelchair, Bainimarama told Grace to be strong and she would return to school soon with her new wheelchair.
Bainimarama also visited other children admitted at the Lautoka hospital and also thanked their parents for their strength and bravery.
The new wheelchair was donated by Nadi business man Hitesh Nagindas.
