Youth in Bua will now no longer have to travel far to achieve their dreams as a new Technical College is now open in Wairiki in Bua.
The new campus is called Ratu Epeli Ravoka Campus which will accommodate youth of more than 40 communities in the Bua province.
While opening the new campus, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama said the education revolution is always his government's proudest achievement.
Bainimarama says that never before in Fijian history, so many young people have had access to education.
He reminded the youth of Bua that the technical school gives an opportunity for them to carve out a better life and brighten up their skills to help government to continue to build a new Fiji.
Bainimarama reminded them to work together as a team just like the Fiji 7s team to achieve their goals.
The Prime Minister says that they are empowering the nation in such a way that parents and grandparents could only dream of and Fijians of previous generations would have never imagined.
He says it is not good enough to see that many people in the rural areas are deprived of good roads, electricity, water, proper health care and efficient communication that others have in the main island.
He promised the people of Bua that they will see more developments in the coming years.
80 students are enrolled at the campus.
