Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has called on members of the Fiji Fuel Retailers Association to be involved in the five-year and 20-year development plans that the Government has embarked on.
While opening the Fiji Fuel Retailers Annual Conference and AGM, Bainimarama says these developments are important for Fiji.
However he says they cannot plan properly for the future without finding out what people think and what kind of developments they want.
The Prime Minister also says they can only get there by forging a partnership of government, the private sector, civil society groups and every citizen working together.
Bainimarama says by the time the consultation period is over, they will have held more than 600 meetings all over Fiji.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has again stressed the importance of people submitting their feedback on the new national flag.
Bainimarama says by extending the deadline, there is now ample opportunity for Fijians to further contribute and consider what symbols most appropriately represent our nation.
