Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama along with other Pacific Leaders met with the French President, Francois Hollande during the 4th France-Oceania Summit in Paris.
Bainimarama informed President Hollande that Fiji values its membership of the Melanesian Spearhead Group and has a strong bond with its Melanesian brothers.
He says the Pacific Region is in clear and present danger and it is time for the world to act to save the Region.
He further says that Fiji will continue to work with France to meet the aspirations of the people of New Caledonia.
Bainimarama also commended France for the support it has provided Fiji through its Pacific Fund.
