Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has called on all Fijians to reject division and hatred in the country.
Speaking at the opening of a new classroom block and electricity grid in Namosi yesterday, Bainimarama also called for national unity in the lead up to elections and beyond.
He said people should look to the future and decide what is best for themselves and their families.
Bainimarama said everyone is equal and no one should be left behind in a new Fiji.
Head Boy of Namosi Secondary School, Maikeli Roraiyala said with the commissioning of the electricity grid, more than 200 students now have constant electricity supply which will help them in their school work and studies.
He said their classes and studies were always affected as they were relying on the diesel generator.
The Prime Minister’s Office provided $53,000 for the new classroom block.
The new electricity grid in Namosi cost $240,000.
This will supply power to five villages in Namosi.
