Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum were continuously attacked by National Federation Party MP Parmod Chand in Parliament.
While speaking on President’s speech, Chand stated that some government members particularly sitting on the front two benches have selective memories.
He says these government members are quick to interject and label opposition members as hypocrites when they talk about constitutional processes for the formulation of the 2013 and 1997 constitutions.
He says the NFP will never support the toppling of a democratically elected government including any illegal act to topple the current government.
He says God forbids this does not happen.
Meanwhile, Chand has also called on the government to repeal the Media Decree.
