Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama met with Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison for the first time in Sydney yesterday.
Australia’s Ambassador to Fiji John Feakes confirmed on Twitter that the meeting was on everything from defence and business to family and rugby.

He also wrote that the friendship between Australia and Fiji is strong.
Bainimarama was also given a Cronulla Sharks jersey by Morrison.
The Prime Minister also opened the new Fiji Consulate in Sydney yesterday.
