The National Director for the People’s Community Network responsible for managing the $12 million government funded Lagilagi Housing project in Jittu Estate in Suva has pleaded guilty to a count of failure to furnish information.
Semiti Qalowasa allegedly failed to furnish full information, records and copies on 17th and 23rd January which was issued by way of Requisition of Information Notice by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission.
The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission is investigating the Peoples Community Network on the Lagilagi Housing project in Jittu Estate Suva.
It had come to the Government’s attention that the People’s Community Network does not have proper documentation about how the government funds were used.
They had also received complaints raising concerns about some people who do not necessarily deserve to be staying at Lagilagi Housing.
The case has been adjourned to the 11th of next month.
