With three days left for the WOWS Kids 2014 walk to come to an end, five overseas rugby based players have signed up to take part in this year’s International SOS Head Shave.
WOWS Kids Fiji Communications Officer Jeremy Duxbury said a number of players from France, New Zealand and England have registered to shave their hair.
Duxbury said these players include Api Naikatini in New Zealand, Wame Lewaravu, Adriu Delai and Api Ratuniyarawa in France and Alex Rokobaro of Europe.
He said these overseas based players will shave their hair at their respective clubs in their respective countries.
He added the Head Shave ceremony is in line with their 13 days walk around Viti Levu and that is to raise funds and create awareness on children with cancer and other life threatening diseases.
The International SOS Head Shave will be held at the Sukuna Park this Friday around midday.
