Over $70,000 distributed to 13 organisations from Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus 2015 Charity Chest

More than $70,000 was distributed to 13 organizations today from the Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus 2015 Charity Chest.

Hibiscus Events Group Chairman Hirdesh Prasad says that they have decided to also donate cash to the West and Northern divisions.

Prasad says the Underprivileged School Students were given more than $19,000, SPCA received more than $13,000, Saint Mina Children’s home from Nadi were handed more than $8,000 while Fiji Scouts Association received more than $7,000.

He adds that both Saint Vincent De Paul and WOWs Kids Cancer Society received more than $5,000 each, Samabula Senior Citizens Home were donated $5,000 while Haus of Khameleon received $3,500.

Prasad says that Yaadein Vision from Nadi received $3,000 while Father Law Home, Veilomani Boys Home in Ba and Babasiga Ashram from Labasa all received more than $900 each.

He mentions that their committee and other sponsors will continue to donate as much as they can to these different organizations.
