More than 5,000 women have received their Courts and South Pacific Business Development financial booklet since its launch in September.

South Pacific Business Development General Manager Elrico Munoz says that most of these women lack financial knowledge but the Booklet has boosted their knowledge of financial literacy.

Munoz reiterated that the booklet has a simplified version of accounting knowledge.

Munoz also believes that supporting a mother in a family will directly impact family wellness and build a platform of how to manage the family budget.

He says that women are now well aware of how to manage their household expenses, balance their payment and familiarize themselves with the status of their business.

South Pacific Business Development is hoping to assist more than 7,000 members before the end of this year and is hoping to see more women joining the programme.
