Over 230 golfers from 20 different countries will be competing in the Fiji International this Thursday at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course.
This is the 4th year Fiji is hosting the golf tournament.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says Fiji is privileged to host this event as it continues to showcase Fiji’s capacity and ability to the rest of the world.
Managing Director for Sports and Entertainment Limited Basil Scaffidi says that All Blacks great Justin Marshall and former Australian Wallabies Captain George Gregan will be the game’s ambassadors this year.
Scaffidi says a tournament of this scale would not be possible without the continued support of their sponsors, media partners and suppliers for their commitment.
The golf tournament begins this Thursday and is expected to end on Sunday at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course.
The Fiji International has a worldwide audience across more than 30 countries reaching over 400 million homes.
