210 people have been fined for selling single rolls and smoking in prohibited zones this year.
The Ministry of Health is reminding the public that there are enforcement officers who monitor smoking in prohibited areas and sale of single rolls.
The spot fine for selling of rolls is $1,000 and the fine for smoking in prohibited areas is $200.
The Tobacco Free Zones around Fiji are all hospitals, health centres, markets, bus stations, nursing stations and village tobacco free community halls along with some villages in Nadroga, Macuata, Naitasiri and Rotuma.
