Over 200 people from all walks of life attended the funeral of a father and his two children at their Kinoya home who were found dead inside their house on Saturday.

34-year-old Johit Prasad, 6-year-old Taanvi Prasad and 2-year-old Jeral Prasad were cremated at the Wainibuku cemetery yesterday.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old mother of the children who was found with severe head and neck injuries inside her house is admitted in a critical condition at the CWM hospital.

Police are closely monitoring her recovery as her statements will be vital to establish the reason behind the deaths of her husband and two children.

Fijivillage also spoke to close family members who are still seeking answers on what transpired on Saturday which led to this tragic incident.

Meanwhile it was noticed that many people who were there were just rushing to take photos of the bodies of the father and two children.

The priest had to tell people to move away as they were also disrupting the final rituals.

Many people rushed to put the photos of the bodies up on their social media pages after the funeral. Some even put up photos of the bodies being cremated.

Some people who were present at the funeral say it is so sad to see how people were rushing just to take photos of the bodies to put it up on facebook. They say it was sickening to see such behavior.
