Over 200 people living in Natadradave village in Tailevu will benefit from a Rural Water Supply project.
Permanent Secretary from the Office of the Prime Minister Yogesh Karan say the project is to begin immediately and the contractor for the project is Water Authority of Fiji.
Karan says the project is expected to cost $212,765.
The Permanent Secretary also signed agreements with Telecom Fiji Limited Mataisau Engineering Civil Supplies and Construction Limited, Earthmoving Works and the Fiji Electricity Authority.
Karan says $9 million dollars has been allocated for these types of projects that fall out of other ministry lines.
