Opposition asks govt on former Prime Minister’s vehicle entitlement

The opposition has asked the government why former Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase and Sitiveni Rabuka were denied ministerial type vehicles as they are entitled to it under the law.

SODELPA parliamentarian, Niko Nawaikula said the government should give an explanation on this.

Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said they now want to remedy the past and the government will ensure that it deals with the cases of all the former Prime Ministers.
