Oli Wati Seru who is the partner of one of the remand prisoners, who had escaped from lawful custody on the 17th of last month has been granted bail.
She had been arrested for her alleged involvement in harboring her partner.
Seru has been released with a bail bond of $500 and two sureties.
Seru is charged with one count of inciting and harboring remand prisoners Jonacani Qalova and Maika Tovagone.
It is alleged that when police had raided the 26-year-old woman's house in Vugalei, Lami they arrested remand prisoner Jonacani Qalova who was sleeping with the accused.
It is alleged Qalova had approached Seru on the 29th of last month and requested to spend the night with her but she did not alert anyone or call the authorities.
It is also alleged that in her caution interview Seru had said Qalova was her partner and that the other prisoner was arrested from the same settlement but not from her house.
Seru while on bail is to reside in Lami with one of the sureties and is to report to the Lami Police Station every weekend.
The case has been adjourned to the 15th of January next year.
