Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu
Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu has made it clear that they will take disciplinary action against their officers if necessary after another escape of a remand prisoner last week.
Two officers have been suspended following the incident and investigations are underway to establish the circumstances that led to the incident.
Tudravu says they have set up a management team to address issues of supervision and command to prevent the reoccurrence of such escapes.
33‑year‑old Inoke Gadre was being escorted to Court when he escaped from the two officers at Government Buildings.
He has been captured by Police.
