The nominees for the 2019 Fiji Performing Rights Association Music Awards will be announced at a concert at Churchill Park in Lautoka on the 16th of March.
This was revealed by Local Artist and Director of the Fiji Performing Rights Association Inoke Kalounisiga at the Launch of the 2019 FPRA Music Awards at the FPRA Head Office in Suva today.
Kalounisiga also highlighted that there will be 15 category awards up for grabs for local musicians at this year’s FPRA Music Awards.
He adds that with the 15 categories they will also be have other awards that will be announced in the coming weeks.
Kaulonisiga says that applications for nominees are now open till the 15th of next month and people can visit their FPRA office for further queries.
Meanwhile, FPRA Awards Organiser Laisa Vulakoro has urged local musicians to be part of this year’s event so that they can be recognized for their hard work and contribution to the local music industry.
The FPRA Music Awards will be held on the 11th of May at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
