The Methodist Church in Fiji has clearly stated that it will not tolerate any official in any Methodist School in the country abusing their power.
Church President, Rev. Dr. Tevita Banivanua says they are continuously working with the Education Ministry to ensure that all its schools are managed according to their standards.
It has also been made clear by Reverend Banivanua that they want to take the lead role in the managing of their schools.
Banivanua says they are focused on enhancing moral and religious education.
He says adapting to the reforms being undertaken by the Education Ministry is a continuous challenge for the church.
