Fiji Airways says no one will be severely disciplined following the incident where one of their flights that was bound for Auckland from Nadi had to turn back due to fumes and oil smell reported in the cabin.
CEO and Managing Director Stefan Pichler said while internal investigations are continuing, it’s also a learning process for the airline.
Fiji Airways also identified the reason which was a failed check valve that allowed hydraulic oil into the air-conditioning system.
