No major incidents were reported during the historic match between Gallagher Chiefs and BNZ Crusaders.
Police Chief of Operations, ACP Rusiate Tudravu said the only report received from the games venue was of people trying to beat the intricate ticketing system.
ACP Tudravu said the sold tickets were either photocopied and attempts to reuse them proved futile.
He said the weather did not dampen the spirits of the thousands of people who turned up to watch the historic event.
ACP Tudravu said this aided the work of more than 200 Police officers who were on operation both at the ANZ Stadium and outer cordons.
He said last night also saw the introduction of a drone to assist with their operations in as far as achieving maximum coverage was concerned.
ACP Tudravu said a drone operated by Skywards Industries of Nadi, was deployed throughout certain periods to help officers keep an eye on the outer cordons so that criminal elements were not given an opportunity to strike.
