No information on whereabouts of Viaviaturaga - Police

Police still do not have any information in relation to the whereabouts of Sakiusa Basa Viaviaturaga who is a key suspect for allegedly cultivating more than 1,000 plants believed to be marijuana in his farm at Tukavesi.

Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Biu Matavou confirms that a team of police officers is still searching for Basa in the Northern Division.

Matavou says that it is possible that he may have gone out of the Northern Division however he cannot confirm this yet.

Police raided a farm in Tukavesi and uprooted 1,012 plants last Wednesday.

According to police Sakiusa Basa who is currently on bail for various other offences was spotted at the farm.
