The Fiji National Sports Commission will no longer provide funding or assistance to sporting organisations who do not promote good governance.
Commission Executive Chairman, Peter Mazey said they have set up clear rules for an organization to be eligible.
Mazey said they will also ensure that all sporting bodies work towards a policy of good governance and accountability to their members, athletes and sponsors.
He said over the past two years there has been a lot of conflict within sporting organisations because there was a lack of transparency and accountability.
Mazey said the results have meant the lack of support for athletes, lack of sponsorship and lack of accountability in team selection.
