The Fiji Labour Party, the Social Democratic Liberal Party, the People's Democratic Party, the National Federation Party and the One Fiji Party have yet to come forward with any concrete evidence to prove any allegations against the Elections Office.
The five parties have signed a letter asking the Elections Office to suspend the counting of ballot papers or they will not accept the results.
Under the Electoral Decree, counting should not be stopped until the final results are out.
Parties can raise concerns in writing.
Fijivillage can confirm that counting has continued without any stoppages.
SODELPA's Mick Beddoes claims that they have some evidence to prove their allegations against the Elections Office.
However he has not provided anything to prove a clear breach.
When questioned on what type of evidence these five parties have to prove their concern, FLP General Secretary Mahendra Chaudhry said the social media has pictures and they also have statements.
Mahendra Chaudhry’s son, Rajendra put up some photos on his facebook of a container filled with ballot boxes alleging that it was at a wharf.
Fijivillage can confirm that these are the secured containers at the Vodafone Arena which contain ballot boxes for counting at the arena.
They are not at the wharf as claimed by Chaudhry.
SODLEPA Party Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa said they are not doing this because they cannot accept defeat but they want the commission to look into their concerns.
FijiFirst General Secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has raised the question on why these parties did not raise any concerns on polling day.
Sayed-Khaiyum said the independent assessment from the Multi-National Observer Group is also clear that the election is credible.
