There is no confirmation yet as to when Fijian national Imshaad Ali who is wanted in Fiji for the alleged murder of his 35-year-old partner is expected to be deported to Fiji.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is still liaising with the Indian Authorities to have Ali deported to Fiji to face murder charges.
Ali who allegedly murdered kindergarten teacher, Rajeshni Sharma at Howell Road in Suva in 2009 has been arrested by Delhi Police in relation to an alleged kidnaping case.
Ali was arrested by Delhi police last Thursday for overstaying.
Ali who was a pilot in Fiji was granted bail by the Suva Magistrates court due to his medical conditions.
In January 2011, Ali went to India on a medical visa and overstayed.
The body of Sharma was found inside her house and a post mortem conducted revealed that she died of strangulation.
