Police have said they have no concrete leads in relation to the alleged murder of a 12-year-old girl at her home in Samabula more than a month ago.
Director CID Kishore Kumar said their investigation is ongoing and he will be able give an update by next week.
Kumar had earlier confirmed that the mother and stepfather of the girl do not understand English.
He is urging members of the public to come forward if they have any information.
The girl was found dead by her stepfather at their home last month.
She was alone at home while her stepfather had gone to drop the girl’s mother at church.
