Ratu Tevita Niumataiwalu of SODELPA was sworn in today in parliament after Parliament MP Mosese Bulitavu was convicted of sedition.
Niumataiwalu says leaders need to attach to their roots and to inspire the future generation to be leaders of our nation.
He also says that each person in Fiji has their basic human rights including indigenous rights.
Niumataiwalu believes indigenous rights are the same as women’s rights, the right of the disabled and children’s rights.
