Nisha overcomes the unthinkable to raise her children

In 2007, 49-year-old Nazra Nisha overcame the unthinkable and continued to raise her children.

She was shot in America but recovered in 6 months and went back to work to provide for her children.

This Mother’s Day, 26-year-old Akshay Kumar is sharing the story of his inspirational mother who he says has been a hero.

He says what has motivated him to stay strong in life is how his mother had overcome all the hardships to raise him and his two siblings.

This will be the second consecutive year that Kumar of Nausori will be spending Mother’s Day without his mother.

He has lived in America for over 18 years and had to come back to Fiji due to immigration issues.

Kumar says spending Mother’s Day without his mother is the most painful thing that he has had to experience in the past two years.
