Today was an emotional day for the Dagaga family as they remembered the contribution of their late father, Inspector Peni Dagaga who passed away as a serving Police Officer on the 6th of September last year.
Inspector Peni Dagaga was one of the twelve Police officers who were commemorated today at the Fiji Police Force Remembrance Day.
We spoke to Year 11 student Niko Dagaga who is proud of his father’s contribution and achievement.
He attended the Remembrance ceremony with his Mother and five sisters.
Inspector Peni Dagaga was a planning officer at the Fiji Police Force planning division and his son, Niko said he was a person who valued and enjoyed his work.
Police Remembrance Day is marked around the world on the 29th of September every year.
Minister for Defense and National Security, Timoci Natuva as well as officers from the RFMF and Corrections Service attended the Fiji Police Force Remembrance Day.
