More students living in and around Viseisei will now be able to attend Viseisei Primary School after the opening of a new classroom block.
School’s Head Teacher Madhur Prakash says the community size around the area is increasing and they do not want children to travel far to other schools.
He adds the classroom will be used by Year two students since 52 students are currently congested in one classroom.
Prakash reveals that Belgium Government gave $31,676 and $8,000 was given by the Ministry of Education for the construction.
There are 328 students in the school.
