The Fiji School for the Blind students will be able to access new and modern technologies later this year.
Fiji Society for the Blind Schools Executive Director, Barbara Farouk said that the students at the school will be able to use the modern Brail Display and notebook for learning.
She said that this will help save time and children will be able to learn more efficiently.
Farouk said the school is having discussions with the management on the projects for raising funds since the equipment’s will be bought from overseas.
She also stressed that there is a need to buy new beds for the hostel students.
Meanwhile the enrolment for students for this year at the school is in progress.
