Tertiary students from Lautoka will soon benefit from a newly built University of the South Pacific campus as plans are in progress.
USP Vice Chancellor Rajesh Chandra said they are anticipating in investing more than $10 million in the construction of the new campus in Lautoka.
Chandra said government has allocated some additional land and they are waiting for the paper work and the title of the land from the Lands Department.
He said the new campus will make a major contribution in providing tertiary education in the Western Division especially in Lautoka.
He added this project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
