Residents of Flagstaff will now be able to feel a lot safer with a brand new Police Post that will be opening at the Flagstaff Plaza shopping complex.
This was made possible through the signing of a Lease Agreement with the developers, Fineland Investments Limited.
The offer of a new location was made by the Directors of Fineland Investment in March 2015 when construction of the new shopping complex plaza began and the wooden structured Police Post was removed where a temporary post was then built at the corner on Laucala Bay Road.
While speaking at the signing, Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho said that this is a great help for the residents as he also revealed that a man tried to ask him for money in the area.
Meanwhile, Director of Fineland Subhash Parshotam says that his company greatly appreciates the support of the community for the project as they take their social responsibility to the community seriously.
