Good news for the people of Nadi as the new cinema multiplex in Martintar is expected to have its soft opening this Thursday.
RB Patel Group Limited Chief Operating Officer Deepak Rathod said 40 people have been employed for the cinema and they are currently undergoing training.
Fijian Holdings Limited is a major shareholder in this project with RB Patel Group and Fijian Holdings Unit Trust.
Rathod added that around $7 million has been spent on the building and the equipment so far.
Life Cinemas Limited will have four fully digital 3D enabled screens.
The soft opening is expected to screen Bollywood movie “PK” this Thursday.
The complex will also include 10 food courts and is expected to open later.
