New Minister of Women Vuniwaqa to focus on pending issues

The new Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa is focusing on looking into the pending issues within the Ministry.

Vuniwaqa says she will continue to serve the people of Fiji with the Ministry’s different programs that were initiated two years ago.

She says that she will see that all the pending issues are attended accordingly.

The Minister says currently she is looking into the policy side to see where she can contribute further.

Vuniwaqa says she will ensure that the challenges faced by other divisions are also addressed so that they are efficient in their service delivery.
