There are no immediate plans in place for the New Methodist Church to build any school for students of Fiji because they are concentrating on evangelism.
This confirmation comes after Fijivillage questioned the Founder and General Superintendent of the New Methodist Church Atunaisa Vulaono if they have plans to build schools or do other things for the community like other religious groups.
Vulaono claims they have very little money although they own 50% of Mai TV.
Vulaono says in one week they have 30 evangelism programs and that is where the expenses are $40,000 to $50,000 and they hardly meet that.
He says having a school can be a long term plan but not any time soon.
Vulaono says they might plan to purchase a boat first and travel to the outer islands for their evangelism programs.
