The new Fijian Holdings Building Tower in Suva will provide a premium grade office space for the Diplomatic missions, donors and other organisations after its completion in 2018.
Fijian Holding Limited CEO Nouzab Fareed said the tower will be a 16 storey building where the basement and first floor will serve as the parking area while other remaining spaces will be ideal for offices.
Fareed said the Geo tech work has started with a bore hole to ensure that the area is perfect.
He said the engineers have gone 20 meters down to see if the rocks below is perfect to put up a good foundation.
The new FHL Tower will be located at the corner of Gordon Street and Thurston Street in Suva.
The $40m worth building is expected to be ready by mid 2018.
