A new Creative Arts building will be constructed at the Fiji National University Nasinu Campus to replace the UniStudio Campus in Raiwai.
This has been confirmed by the Fiji National University Vice-Chancellor Nigel Healey.
Healey says the building will have 400 to 500 lecture seats theatre for live performances as well as television and radio studios.
He says the plan is to make the building the centre of the campus and host performances for the students in FNU Campus in Nasinu.
Meanwhile, FNU Chancellor Iqbal Janiff has confirmed that primary works have already begun for the construction of the $6million FNU Campus in Labasa.
He adds that capital projects that are underway at the Fiji National University is aimed at improving overall student experiences and making the University more competitive in the tertiary education sector.
