There is a need to revive original English music in the country.
These are the words of the general manager of Procera Music Company, Mahid Murad who said that ten years ago there used to be many English singers around.
However he said that most of the singers now opt for recorded music and Procera has decided to award English singers and composers during the Fiji Music Awards night this Saturday to promote more artists in this area.
Murad said that three singers who compose their own English songs have been nominated in the reggae group for the awards.
The Fiji Music Awards Night will be held this Saturday evening at the National Gymnasium and tickets can be brought from the Procera Music Shop in Toorak, Suva and Nausori.
